It depends on whether the program has a feature to support scanning items using a barcode scanner. You can check the program's documentation or contact the developer for more information.
Does Easy MR Inventory Version 6.0 work on Windows 10? How do I migrate from my Windows 7 computer to new Windows 10 computer? Can I simply copy the folder RCLTRAIN and its contents to flash drive and then copy to new computer Drive C:? Do I have to run an install file? If so, which one?
Do I have to download the App from store or RCL website, then restore data from my copied files as above?

Unfortunately, it's impossible to check if there's a version available for Windows 10, because the official website of the developers is out of order, meaning that the domain where it was hosted is now expired making it impossible to access new data.
Because of this I conclude that Easy Model Railroad Inventory doesn't have support for Windows 10 now or in the near future until someone re-develops it or the actual developer releases a new version.
We have a large model train collection. We would like to scan the bar codes of each train car or engine and begin an inventory. I guess we may have an excess of 5000 cars/engines.
Do you have a program that will scan a bar code, search the code for the item description, and populate a spreadsheet with the train information?

Of all the applications I have checked, MiTrains appears to be the one you need for your models. It might not feature all the things you need, but it has a huge database with trains that can be used.
My original computer has a motherboard failure. I purchased a new computer. Carbonite has restored my computer data to my new machine and I located my Easy Model RR Inventory Data. How do I link my restored data to my newly installed Easy Model RR Inventory Software?

If you have the software installed, go to Help > Contents. That section will provide information related to the import of the old data as well as functions provided in the software. I have checked the official website, but it leads to a non-functional domain, which means it's impossible to obtain details about functions. In the help section, there will be a topic related to IMPORT where you can add your old data to the application.
We cannot provide assistance in acquiring specific versions of software. You may try searching online or contacting the software developer directly.

There are other applications as well, but this one appears to be more up to date than others.
